Backgammon Mastermind — last updated July 2026

Summary

Backgammon Mastermind is a local board game. Gameplay runs on your device. We use privacy-friendly product analytics to understand how people use the app so we can improve it. We do not sell personal data, show ads, or require an account.

Data we collect

Product analytics (PostHog)

When the app can reach the network, we send anonymous usage events (for example: screens opened, a game started, Learn to Play progress, dice rolled). Events are processed by PostHog so we can see feature usage and fix problems.

These events are not used for advertising. We do not ask for your name, email, or payment details inside the app. Analytics may include device/app metadata that PostHog collects by default (such as app version and platform).

You can learn more about PostHog’s practices at posthog.com/privacy.

What we do not collect

We do not operate user accounts. We do not collect contact lists, precise location, photos, or microphone/camera data. Full move-by-move game replays are not uploaded as a product feature.

Local storage

The app stores preferences and progress on your device (for example theme, language, and Learn to Play completion) using local storage (MMKV). That data stays on your device unless you back up your phone through your OS provider.

Third parties

Children

The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from children for the purpose of selling it or targeting ads.

Changes

We may update this policy when the product changes. The latest version is published at this URL and linked from the App Store listing.
